Home Improvement Documentation
Major Works Application Process:
Please note that Canal East home owners planning major works home improvements need to submit the following to plans@cehoa.co.za:
- A Plan
- Completed Major Works Application Form (available under documents on our website: www.cehoa.co.za)
- 2 x proof of payments (details on application form)
Once received, we send this to the Canal East Home Owners Association Supervising Architect (SA) to do a report and check and confirm all is in order. If all in order we stamp the plan and send this back to you. This is when you submit to council for their approval.
On completion of the project, homeowners let us know and we arrange for a final inspection certificate done by the SA.
Once the final certificate is issued, the building deposit is paid back to the homeowner.
